Scope of Application: The classifier has four kinds, the high wire single spiral and double spiral types, the submerged single spiral type and the double spiral type. This machine is widely used to split the ore flow stage by stage in a closed -cycle in concentrating mills when operating together with the ball mill, or to classify ore sands and fine silt in gravity concentration mills and carry out size grading of ore pulp in mineral concentration process and desliming and dewatering tasks in ore washing process. Classifier Components: The classifier mainly comprises the transmission gear, spirochete, tank, lifting mechanism, lower cradle (bearing bush) and ore discharge valve.

Principle of Operation: By virtue of different sizes and specific gravities that enable the solid particles to have different sinking speeds in the liquid, fine mineral particles float in the water and overflow while coarse particles sink to the bottom of the tank. The classifier whose screw blade pushes the particles upward for discharge for the purpose of mechanical classification is able to filter pulverized grains ground by the mill and discharge the filtered fine materials through overflow pipe while drive the coarse ones into the feed port of the mill by the screw blade. The machine base is made of channel steel, and the body is made of welded steel plates. The diving head and spindle noise of the screw shaft use wear-resistant, durable pig iron sleeve, while the lifting unit is available in manual and automatic types.
